Paris WhiteWater West, the world’s largest designer and manufacturer of water parks, has finally launched the project of “Endless Surf” in the heart city of France, Paris , at a new €250 million development.
The WhiteWater has finally made the Endless Surf public, for those of you who do not know of it, it is an indoor innovative surfing facility that provides waves that are fabricated in a way that is, at once, efficient, powerful, and customizable for the purpose of allowing its riders to enjoy a flawless experience without having to worry about their safety at all.
It is true that WhiteWater has taken a full 40 years to bring this incredible technology to life, thanks to its aquatic engineering skillfulness and a long-term gathered experience. WhiteWater is based in British Columbia, Canada. This company has been in this industry long enough to develop numerous mixed water facilities such as the famous FlowRider, FlowBarrel, FlowCurl, Wave-in-a-box, and WaveOz.
WhiteWater CEO, Geoff Chutter, stated that: “We developed our first surf pool, Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon, in 1989. Now, with Endless Surf, we are introducing a next-generation wave pool technology, … WhiteWater wants to create the world’s best man-made wave. Our goal is to develop an authentic surfing experience that enables tens of thousands to discover the thrill of riding for the first time.”
Let’s dive into the technical details of Endless Surf, shall we?
Endless Surf is basically every surfer’s dream since it provides adjustable waves based on the demands. It is organic, heart-shaped, and size-changeable, able to reach up to 1000 feet i.e. 300 meters in width within a 2-hectare (5-acre) pool. Furthermore, it offers up to 26-second end to end ride.
Its programming is patent-protected, it allows its user to change the pattern of the waves instantly with an added feature that enables it to run various kinds of waves at the same time. As WhiteWater’s Chief Business Delevopment Officer, Paul Chutter, said: “Our reliable pneumatic technology creates endless rolling sets, designed for operational success; being flexible, high capacity, and above all else, safe…”
